Raw linen, a heavy wool overcoat and a dark collar, captured on bare asphalt under direct strobe sharp enough to burn the highlights and crush the background to void. The rigid posture lets the fabric fall where it breaks. Where the rest of the portraits hide form in darkness, this one trades detail for pure overexposure.
